Trixie Belden

What are some good mystery/detective books?
My daughter is 12 and I want to give her some books for her 13th birthday. She has read:
famous five
secret seven
Trixie Belden
Nancy Drew
Hardy boys
Any suggestions? She is a girl so suggest ones with a female protoginist thanks!
xx SIbella!!!
Based on your list, the suggestion by mlayfield is excellent: Cherry Ames.
I read that the first four are back in print. Go here to read about the series and where to find the books:

add: Since it’s your daughter’s 13th birthday, you might consider that she’s ready for more mature reading, otherwise, it might not hold her interest. For instance, I was way done reading Nancy Drew by age 10 or so and had already read all of Jack London and Mark Twain by the time I was 13 (back in late 1961), which is when I first read Ernest Hemingway, plus I had a subscription to Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine.
I’m just not current enough in YA reading to know what’s popular right now but perhaps your library might suggest young adult mysteries with female main characters she would like?
