Is Joran Van Der Sloot is an argument against legalized prostitution?
Many countries in Europe now have legalized prostitution because it is a “victimless” activity. I lived in one of the countries in the Europe that has actively attempted to keep prostitution illicit, which has been roundly criticized. When you see character like Joran Van Der Sloot (killed Natalee Holloway in Aruba) and his activities in white slavery, does it really seem like a victimless activity?
White Slavery today is the international trafficking of women and children. It is a growing phenomenon, as thousands of women and children are trafficked by businessmen into dens around the world for purposes of prostitution.
The modern slavers from European nations model themselves on the historic slavers, except they now dress in expensive Italian suits, carry mobile phones and drive flashy automobiles. Alleged serial killer Joran Van Der Sloot was involved in this business in the Carribean. It is estimated that 20-30 million people live as slaves today.

In Sweden, the government has ruled all prostitution and pornography as forms of sex trafficking. The country’s legal approach to end sex trafficking differs from its neighbours Germany and the Netherlands. As Erikkson, a Swedish member of the European parliament states, “Everyone in the European Union is against human trafficking, of course,” she clarifies, “but we know that 90 percent of this commerce has to do with sexual exploitation.”
Sweden is somewhat alone in their campaign and the movement was urged on by the Queen Silivia who is ethnically German and Brazilian.
