i am doing an art project for school and i have to make a booklet with a picture of something that begins with the first letter of my name, i am called ISABELA for one a i am going to do antiques, the theme of my booklet is vintage items, i am really stuck thanks, izzi
try a huge stylised ‘I’ cut out and filled from behind with collage of antiques – get an antiques magazine and photocopy them – you could also antique the paper you use by starting with cream parchment and ageing it with tea bags just take one warm out of the pot and dab it over the paper – you can also use crackle glaze – clear shellac with a drop of washing up liquid in it will crackle and then you can rub some oil paint into the cracks with a cloth to highlight them the shellac dries in minutes so it isnt a long process
