Vintage Mystery

Help with outfit please!?
It’s my friend’s birthday on friday, and for it she is having a murder mystery thing, where each guest is given a character to act and dress as.
Mine is a glamorous lawyer, so my invite says a black dress and pearls and all that, aswell as a blonde neat bob.
Well that is basically my hairstyle anyway so that is sorted out, however I don’t have a “glamourous” black dress, my wardrobe mainly consists of vintage , florally things, so this is like the best I could come up with from what I have, yeaaah it still is pretty vintagey but I couln’t really help it because that’s like all I have and wear. But how does this look?
My friend said we don’t have to completely follow the outfit given to our characters..

That looks really cute
I would say though for this occation maybe take out the legings because they’re a bit disctracting and go to the dollar store or something and get some plain black tights
also the carigan is a bit long, so maybe try looking in you and your friends closet for like a cropped hopefully black sweater? you can give it a try
also try and see if you have any shoes that are less bulky. maybe a low heel, mary jane? or just thinner boots…
other then that the outfit is good. And if you don’t find anything that i sujested, thats fine, you’ll look great i’m sure
have fun at the party!

Looney Tunes: Golden Collection, Vol. 1 $41.86 For years, animation buffs have waited impatiently for the Warner Bros. cartoons to appear on DVD. The Warner shorts never commanded the budgets and prestige of the Disney and MGM films, and won fewer Oscars than they deserved. But decades after the best ones were created, they remain the quintessential Hollywood cartoons: brash, fast-paced, aggressively funny and uniquely American. Virtually… |

Night Nurse [VHS] $19.98 Hellooo, nurse! Leonard Maltin introduces this “sordid and seamy” entry in the Forbidden Hollywood series of vintage pre-Hays Code melodramas that scandalized audiences with their prurient content. Dated to be sure (when was the last time you heard about crooks taking someone “for a ride?”), but this 1931 gem directed by William Wellman (Public Enemy) is still pretty strong medicine. It has sassy … |
