What is Walt Disneys ‘Fantasia’ about?
Im not prepared to pay £18 which i don’t have on a movie i might not like. My brother loved it. But i have no idea what it was about. All i can remember is that it has Mickey mouse in.
I liked the other films like Aristrocats and Pocahantus
It’s Disney animation to classical music. Each song has an animated story to it-there is no dialogue or even lyrics just music and animation. It’s actually quiet beautiful. Yes Mickey is in one of the stories-he’s in the Sorcerer’s Apprentice bit-the scene with the brooms and all the water from the movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is actually from Fantasia. Mickey is the only Disney character in the movie, all of the other characters are just random characters for this movie. There is a segment with dinosaurs, one with fish, one with fairies, one with centaurs and a Baccus character, one with ballerina animals, one with demons, and I don’t really remember the rest.
Some of the animation is more artistic than usual movies such as the Aristocats. It is a really interesting movie- I used to love it as a child, although the demon segment scared the crap out of me. Also interesting given that it is Disney, it has some nudity.
