Waverley Novels

Are these books of any great value?
I have a hardback copy of Waverley Novels Border Edition Old Mortality by Sir Walter Scott, with introductory essay and notes by Andrew Lang – (Editor’s Note dated 1893)
and a hardback copy of Queen Victoria’s Sketchbook by Marina Warner published 1979. Would be grateful if anyone could tell me if these books are of any value as I’m doing a clearout.
If you have a book from the 1800′s, for goodness sake, do NOT just throw it away. It could be worth a fortune to a collector. It may behoove you to do a little research.
Now, the one published in 1979? Well, by then, publishers had the ability to mass print; it may not be worth much.
