How did the early adherents of Calvinism(Puritans/Pilgrims)would respond to William Cullen Bryant’s poems?
The early adherents of Calvinism were in the late 16th Century.
Bryant wasn’t born until 1794 – 200 years later!
They wouldn’t have known anything about him he was far in the future.
