Writing a story wonder whats the best POV to write the story in?
Pretty much what I just said up top. I’m thinking about writing the story on First POV, but not sure? I’m not a fan of reading it but would like to try and write first POV. Any ideas or suggestion would be great.
There is no ‘best’ point of view to write from.
You should chose which perspective you want to use based on what is most fitting for the story you want to tell. Choosing a perspective isn’t about selecting what you like – it’s about recognizing what perspective will be better to immerse the reader in your story.
Third person generally works well for plot-driven stories, and first is good for character studies, but there are obviously many exceptions for both.
