Information about Culver Academies?
I recently received a card in the mail from Duke TIP about applying for a scholarship for Culver Girls Academy in Indiana. After reading through their website and doing some research I decided that I want to apply for admission and a scholarship, for the 2010 – 2011 school year.
My grades are good, my yearly average for last year was a 99 or higher in every subject. I’m taking Algebra this year in 8th grade as opposed to regular math. I took the SA Ts last year and scored 570 in reading, 490 in math and 490 in writing. I’m a member of the National Junior Beta Club and had perfect behavior last year. I’m a cheerleader a second degree black belt and a member of the yearbook staff.
What do you think my chances for getting accepted and for getting a scholarship are? Also, do you think I would be a good fit for Culver Girls Academy?

I got the same card, and I’m also in eighth grade and am in the same boat your in. I take the same classes, and took the SAT and ACT’s too.
I got to thinking, and I’d imagine that they probably sent this to every student that took the SAT’s and ACT’s. I hope that’s not true.
You sound like a good fit for the school though! From what you’ve written, you sound like your smart, active, and would be good for the school.
If you do apply, I hope you make it! All though i’m hoping I get one of the four spots at the same time!… but I’m still trying to talk my parents into it!
